This Privacy Policy explains how Pulse ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Pulse mobile application and related services (the "Service").

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Encrypted authentication credentials

1.2 Fitness and Profile Information

To provide fitness tracking features, we may collect:

  • Workout routines
  • Exercises, sets, reps, and weights
  • Workout history and timestamps
  • Fitness goals
  • Body metrics such as weight, height, and BMI
  • User timezone

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you use Pulse, certain information may be collected automatically:

  • Device type
  • Operating system version
  • App usage events
  • Diagnostics and crash reports

1.4 Health Data (Apple Watch)

If you connect Pulse with Apple Health or Apple Watch, workout session data may be shared with Apple Health only with your explicit permission. Pulse does not access Apple Health data unless you grant permission.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide workout tracking and progress monitoring
  • Synchronize workout data across devices
  • Improve the reliability and usability of the app
  • Analyze usage trends to improve features
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate and improve Pulse. These providers may process personal data on our behalf.

  • Supabase – authentication and database infrastructure
  • PostHog – product analytics and usage tracking
  • Sentry – crash reporting and diagnostic monitoring
  • RevenueCat – subscription management and purchase validation
  • Apple – App Store billing and optional Apple Health integration

These providers only process information necessary to perform their services and are contractually required to protect your data.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored using secure cloud infrastructure and protected using industry-standard security measures.

  • Encrypted connections (TLS/SSL)
  • Secure authentication systems
  • Access control and database security policies

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

We do not sell your personal data.
